Lucid dreaming does not exist?

That's an opinion I have read. Firstly, take a neutral point of view and say I'm looking for information on the internet. What comes up searching lucid dreaming is this astral projection and remote viewing related stuff that does not give much confidence in it, yet, seems to be relevant to lucid dreaming.
Later on, let's see what some encyclopedias say. They describe lucid dreaming and it seems quite real, but these usually have the article with unsourced statements mark.

In one of his dialogues LaBerge has talked about lucid dreaming and about how he has proven it to be real (I will maybe put up that file if things turn out well). It is related with eye movements accordingly in the directions in which they do move in the lucid dream. Wow, a proof. But wait, I can't see that. I have seen talking about it. But where is it? Can I see the official experiment, please? Seems not. The proves do not seem that impressing as I don't really know if they are real...

Let's take a lucid dreamer's (hey, that could be me) perspective now. I have had some lucid dreams (nothing too fancy, but still). I should know if they exist. And I am almost sure they do. That should be evident to me. But will other people believe by just what I'm saying? Okay, many people say to have lucid dreams. But many people also say to have seen many stuff, like UFO, smurfs, witches, intelligent chickens, three-eyed people, Tom Thumb etc. That does not prove them, though.
Finally, even if I tell you there are lucid dreams and even if you lucid dream yourself, here is a new approach to it:

There is no such thing as lucid dreams, specifically, no such thing as dream control. We just dream we do understand that we are dreaming and we just dream we can control the dream whereas the dream is still actually only jerking around with us.

How would it matter from a lucid dream if we can still do anything we want or think we want? Don't ask me. But it would. Maybe...
